Double B Travel didn't start in a corporate boardroom with a 50-page business plan or five-year financial projections. It started with two carry-ons, a flight to Greece, and a simple desire to explore more of the world together.
That getaway unlocked our true passion for travel: tracking down unbelievable local tavernas, getting delightfully lost down cobblestone alleys, and truly experiencing a destination rather than racing through a tourist checklist.
From Athens to London, Turkey to New York City, Chicago to Washington D.C. — and countless road trips in between — one thing became crystal clear: we weren't the only ones daydreaming about that next big escape. So we built Double B Travel to help plan yours.

The people person, idea generator, and social spark of the team. Ruthy turns casual "wouldn't it be amazing if we went to..." dinner conversations into unforgettable adventures and keeps the Double B engine humming.
Our camping co-pilot, local road trip navigator, and undisputed MVP. Willow specializes in route reconnaissance, patio napping, and sniffing out unattended snacks within a five-mile radius.
We do our homework — finding the best bakeries, must-see sights, and seamless transit.
Once you arrive? We don't believe vacations should feel like a second job with a minute-by-minute schedule. Sometimes the best memories come from following your nose down an alley or lingering over a second dessert.
Originally, we considered calling ourselves Burklow & Burklow Travel. But let's be honest — it sounded a little too much like a law firm coming to audit your baggage fees.
